About the Role

You will be in a dynamic role that involves both creative and strategic responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who loves generating content, understands social media trends, and can manage brand presence across various platforms to engage audiences effectively.

Requirements

Key responsibilities:

1. Content Creation

  • Visual and Written Content: Develop graphics, videos, and written posts that align with the brand's voice and visual identity.

  • Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives for campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

  • Editing and Optimisation: Ensure all content is polished and optimised for each platform (e.g., using the right video formats, image sizes, and character limits).

  • Trend Adaptation: Stay current on trends (memes, challenges, popular hashtags) and adapt them creatively to fit the brand’s tone and objectives.

  • Consistency: Maintain a consistent posting schedule to keep followers engaged and build audience anticipation.


    2. Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Platform Strategy: Choose the right platforms based on where the target audience is most active (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and develop unique strategies for each.

  • Campaign Development: Design and execute campaigns that have clear goals, whether for brand awareness, engagement, or sales conversions.

  • Audience Engagement: Actively respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster a loyal community and build relationships with followers.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyse the performance of posts, stories, and campaigns using tools like Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, or Sprout Social, and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Paid Advertising: Manage and optimise paid social media campaigns (like Facebook and Instagram ads) to reach a broader audience or specific demographics.


    3. Brand Voice & Community Building

  • Tone of Voice: Maintain and evolve the brand’s voice to ensure consistency across all content and interactions.

  • Community Management: Build and nurture an engaged community, encouraging user-generated content, responding to followers, and creating a positive brand environment.

  • Influencer & Partner Collaborations: Identify potential influencers, brand ambassadors, or partners and coordinate with them to broaden brand reach.


    4. Creativity Meets Analytics

  • This role is a blend of creative intuition and data-driven decisions. You’ll use analytics to inform future posts and campaigns, while relying on creativity to make them memorable and engaging.


    Skills Needed

  • Creativity & Storytelling: You need a passion for storytelling, an eye for aesthetics, and the ability to transform ideas into engaging content.

  • Technical Social Media Knowledge: Understanding each platform’s best practices, tools, and algorithms is key.

  • Communication & Writing Skills: Excellent communication is essential for writing captions, stories, and engaging with followers.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Familiarity with analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.

  • Project Management: Strong organisation and time-management skills to juggle multiple campaigns and content deadlines.
