Barawak is a community-based organisation with a simple but powerful mission: dedicated to identifying, supporting and improving the lives of the African and Caribbean population.
We are building a better and brighter future for the African, Caribbean and wider community by providing 'real help' from the point of need to equipping such individuals through care in the community initiatives, education, job and business development opportunities; sports and wellness programmes.
We support vulnerable and underserved individuals who often feel overlooked in our society. they're not just statistics-they're neighbours and friends, who deserve support, empowering and building lives with dignity.

Barawak is a charity organisation that was initially established to support and uplift individuals and families of African, Caribbean and wider community, by addressing poverty, improving welfare, and fostering community resilience.
Through tailored resources, advocacy, and cultural empowerment, we aim to provide opportunities for stability, self-sufficiency, and improved quality of life, while promoting unity, dignity, and inclusion for all in need.
