This October, join Barawak as we celebrate Black History Month with a special programme of culture, community, food, music and togetherness.
From friendly competition at our Ludo & Dominoes Tournament to a special Food Bank session and our Barawak Anniversary Celebration, there's something for everyone.
Black History Month is an opportunity to recognise the achievements, contributions and heritage of Black communities, share our stories and celebrate the cultures that bring us together.
We invite our African, Caribbean and wider community to join us as we honour our past, celebrate our present and look forward to our future.

Join us for a fun evening of Ludo, Dominoes and friendly competition.
Enjoy music, food, good vibes and the chance to win prizes and trophies. Whether you're competing or cheering others on, everyone is welcome!

Alongside our usual food distribution, we'll offer a selection of African, Caribbean and Indian non-perishable foods, subject to availability, as well as music, cultural displays and community information.

Join us for a special evening celebrating Barawak's anniversary and Black History Month.
Experience African and Caribbean culture through live music, dance, poetry, historical presentations and a delicious cultural meal. An evening to celebrate our heritage, our achievements and our community.
